Options for tooth whitening include: over the counter whitening strips, custom made trays, and in-office ZOOM whitening. The Dental Center offers both in office professional treatment and custom fit trays for treatment at home. It is important to have a dental exam prior to whitening to determine if you are a candidate.

At the beginning of your appointment, your clinician will discuss the whitening procedure with you and answer any questions you might have. Pictures will be taken to compare your before and after results.

You will be fitted for whitening trays to take home so you can touch up the whiteness of your teeth at home. A barrier will be place on your gums to protect them from the whitening gel. Next, the whitening gel is placed on your teeth and an LED whitening lamp accelerates the results. This procedure can be done up to four times at the same visit until the shade of whiteness is achieved.

Following the whitening process, you will be able to instantly see results! You will be given your whitening trays and gel and instructions for use will be given. The take home whitening trays can be used any time in the future if you notice your teeth yellowing again.
