Brandy, Practice Manager & Human Resource Specialist

I was born and raised in Bemidji, MN. I joined the U.S. Air Force and was stationed in Alamogordo, New Mexico at Holloman Air Force Base where I served for 4 years. I have over 28 years of payroll and HR experience from working for Dwayne Young, Inc. (Bemidji, MN), MN Department of Health (St. Paul, MN) and the Iowa City Community School District (Iowa City, IA).

Since I started working at The Dental Center, I have met so many amazing people. The Dental Center brings a whole new meaning to the word TEAM and I’m very fortunate to be part of it.

I enjoy spending time with my family, playing euchre and doing anything outdoors, especially golfing.

Jessie, Account Research & Administration Manager

Jessie is the Administration Manager at The Dental Center. She manages accounts receivable, treatment and financial coordinating and the Administration Team. Jessie earned her AAS and RDH through the Dental Hygiene program at Kirkwood Community College in 2008.

Outside of work, Jessie enjoys spending time with family, reading and seeing live music.

Sandy, Social Media & Marketing Coordinator

I have worked at The Dental Center for 5 years as the “Fix-it man” making sure both buildings equipment/building is running properly.

Outside if work I like to travel & spend time with my family. I’m a big Iowa Hawkeye football fan!

Anna, Scheduling Coordinator

While many of you have been familiar with seeing Anna at the front desk over the years, she has recently transitioned to a new position, as the Scheduling Coordinator for both the Cedar Rapids and Hiawatha locations. She is happy to help facilitate coordinating your dental needs and looks forward to working with you!

Nadia

Even as a small child, I knew I would either be a teacher or work in a health field some day. I believe I’ve found the best of both worlds with dental hygiene! I truly enjoy every opportunity I am given to educate my patients about oral health. I feel fortunate to be here at The Dental Center where I can spend so much one-on-one time with my patients. It really gives me the chance to get to know every person individually and help them achieve the best oral-health possible.

I graduated with a degree in Dental Hygiene from Kirkwood in 2015 and with a degree in Health and Human Physiology from The University of Iowa in 2016. My studies have led me to have a strong interest in the association between oral and overall health. I love when I am able to help our patients see and appreciate the connections between the two!

In my spare time, I enjoy cheering my kids on at their sporting events, traveling, and simply spending time with family.

Nancy

Nancy is part of our administration team at The Dental Center. In the past, she worked at LaSalle Middle School as a librarian.

Emma

Emma is a part of our administration team at The Dental Center. In the past, she has worked at an Oral Surgeon’s office and a Family Medicine office. She has attended Mount Mercy college and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration. She is passionate about the dental field and taking care of your teeth. It’s just as important as your overall health!

I love working at The Dental Center because of how great our patient experience is. Not only do we offer lots of treatment options but we make sure our patients feel welcome and are treated fairly, so they trust us with their care and want to keep coming back.

Outside of the office, I like to take my dogs on walks, travel, and spend time with family. I have two big dogs, a Great Pyrenees and a rescue pitbull/lab mix. They keep me entertained and they are my babies!

Kiley

Kiley earned her dental assisting certificate through hands on learning and is excited to learn more. She received a degree from University of Iowa in Entrepreneurial Leadership as well as finishing pre-requisites for dental hygiene school. She plans to attend dental hygiene school within the next few years.

In my free time I love to be outside whether it’s on a boat or exploring. My favorite water sport to do is wakeboarding but I also love skiing, tubing, or knee boarding. Any activity I do I want friends or family with me. I learned how to play guitar at a young age and my favorite song to play is smelly cat by Phoebe Buffet. I’m the biggest dog lover you will ever meet!!

I have been working in dental administration for 6 years. I previously worked at an oral surgery office as a treatment coordinator focusing on insurance and treatment planning. I have been able to transfer those skills here at the Dental Center. I enjoy helping patients use their insurance benefits and helping them understand how insurance can work for them.

I enjoy working at the Dental Center because of how well our clinical team and administration team work together to provide our patients with the best care possible. I also enjoy that every day is different and I get the opportunity to learn something new every day that I’m here. It is great working with doctors who care about their patients and their team. It is great to see how much they care about everyone.

Outside of work, my husband and I enjoy golfing, traveling, and spoiling our dog, Lucy. I enjoy reading and spending time with friends and family. My husband and I are always up for a new adventure, even if its just trying a new restaurant or traveling some place new.

Sherry

Sherry has worked in dentistry for over 29 years! She graduated from Hawkeye Community College with her diploma in Dental Assisting.

In her free time she enjoys kayaking, boating & spending time outdoors. She also enjoys spending time with her family & friends.

Keeli

Keeli graduated from Kirkwood Community College and comes to us with a strong customer service and administrative background. She has been in both customer facing and administrative roles for just under 10 years and is excited about the opportunity to contribute to a team-oriented dental practice and assist in providing excellent service to our practice and our patients.

Keeli was born and raised in Cedar Rapids. When not at work, she loves spending time with her family, especially her husband Mathias and their 3-year-old german shepherd dog named Oden. Keeli enjoys the outdoors by hiking and camping but also enjoys thrift shopping and staying in watching a good documentary.

When you evaluate a dental office, there is much to consider. We believe part of what sets us apart from other dental offices is the quality of our support team.

We know there is much more to our patients than their teeth! Over the combined 70 years our front desk staff has had working at The Dental Center, we have grown to consider the people we care for as our patients AND our friends.
